Abhi falls in love with Maheswari (Anshu), who is the niece of an employee (Chandra Mohan) in Abhi's grandfather's company. Notes
The film's theme in the first half was inspired by Mel Gibson's What Women Want. In Manmadhudu, Abhi installs microphones to spy on his employees' conversations. In What Women Want, Nick gets the ability to hear women's thoughts after a mishap.
In both films, the hero saves a woman in the office who tries to commit suicide. Nick tries on women's lipstick at home — Abhi does the same thing.
The film was appreciated for its slapstick comedy and Trivikram Srinivas's witty dailogues. The red sports car that Abhiram drives in the movie is a 1992 Nissan 300sx. This model was discontinued in 1994 and would have been an import. The movie has references to tehelka.com.
