Mankhaqucha (Quechua mankha a gap deformed by continuous use, qucha lake,[2][3] hispanicized spelling Mancacocha) is a lake in Peru located in the Junín Region, Jauja Province, Canchayllo District.[4] It lies east of the lake Llaksaqucha, southwest of the lake Challwaqucha and south of the mountain Challwaqucha (Chalhuacocha). Mankhaqucha is connected with the lake Chakip'aki (Quechua for "foot fracture", hispanicized Chaquipaque) southeast of it, situated at the foot of the mountain Chakip'aki.
