Manjhanpur is a town, nagar panchayat and district headquarters of Kaushambi district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Manjhanpur had a population of 14,150. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Manjhanpur has an average literacy rate of 55%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 64%, and female literacy is 44%. In Manjhanpur, 17% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Place to visit
In Manjhanpur the Jain temple at Prabhasgiri, Kamasin Devi Temple at Gambheerapurab village, Durga Devi Temple,Baram Baba Temple in Village Selraha are visited by the devotees. A fair is held every year during Navratri.
