The Manila Nomads Football Club (also known as Nomads Auction Manila for sponsorship reasons) is the association football team of the Manila Nomads Sports Club which is based in Parañaque, Philippines. The club currently plays in the second division of the United Football League, after choosing to self-relegate due to failure to comply with the league's foreigner cap rule.

History

The club was founded in 1914 by members of the Manila Club, and is the oldest existing club in the country. In its early years it was considered unbeatable by other teams in the country.[1]

United Football League

Manila Nomads is one of the founding members of the United Football League (Philippines) and playing in Division 1 since the league started as semi-professional in 2009.

After winning the 2011 Division Two crown, the Nomads, along with two other clubs, were promoted to the United Football League Division One. In the 2012 season, the club ended their run at seventh place.

In the 2013 United Football League (Philippines), they finished 8th in the table.

In the 2014 United Football League (Philippines), they chose to self-relegate after they fail to comply with the league's foreigner cap rule.

Stadium

Manila Nomads plays its home games at Nomads Field, which has a capacity of 3.000 spectators found in Parañaque.
