Maneepong Jongjit (Thai: มณีพงศ์ จงจิตร); (born 21 March 1991 in Phuket) is a badminton player from Thailand.[2]

Maneepong Jongjit began to attract attention when he competed as a junior with Bodin Issara in Men's Doubles. Together they made the transition to Doubles as senior competitors. Their top result to date came at the 2012 India Open where they defeated Ko Sung-hyun and Yoo Yeon-seong in the final.[3]

In Mixed Doubles Jongjit competes with Savitree Amitrapai, but they have yet to reach a Super Series final.

Badminton Brawl

In 21 July 2013, Jongjit and his former partner Issara had a fight during half time in the final of Men's Double Canadian Open Grand Prix Gold 2013. Jongjit who was partner with Nipitphon Puangpuapech met Issara and his new partner Pakkawat Vilailak in the final Men's Double. The former partner that had an issue against each other back then starting to do trash talking during the first game and ended up with Issara chasing, hitting, and punching Jonjit along the court. For the result, both players got a sanction from Badminton World Federation (BWF) via Thailand Badminton Associaton (BAT). Issara who was the aggressive one banned for 2 years from international tournament plus the result of Canadian Open GPG 2013 that he had won't be counted. And Jongjit who provoked Issara during the match was banned for 3 months.[4]
