Manchester Enterprise Centre

Manchester Enterprise Centre, previously Manchester Science Enterprise Centre, (MSEC) is an organisation at the University of Manchester that focuses on stimulating enterprise and entrepreneurship.

History

It was launched in 2000, with help from the Science Enterprise Challenge Fund.

Methods of study

Manchester Enterprise Centre offers postgraduate enterprise degree programmes and a range of undergraduate and postgraduate units to students from any subject background.

MEnt

MEC established the unique Master of Enterprise degree (MEnt) which is designed to prepare people for careers as knowledge based entrepreneurs. This is a 12-month, full-time programme with a part-time option. The programme was designed to be academically rigorous whilst equipping students with the practical skills and knowledge required to successfully take ideas into the marketplace.
