Manchenahalli :ಕನ್ನಡ :(ಮಂಚೇನ ಹಳ್ಳಿ) is a town in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Gauribidanur taluk of Chikkaballapur district in Karnataka. It is located 4 km from the town of Gowribidanur and 10 km from Muddenahalli-Kanivenarayanapura. This town is a renowned center for Jains, and houses a highly revered Jain shrine called Manchenahalli Jain Temple devoted to Shri Kodi Brahmadeva. A tourist hub is located in nearby Minikanagurki. Pegasus Rapelling and mountain climbing are also nearby to the southwest. A beautiful group of churches is located here.[3]

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Manchenahalli had a population of 7205 with 3657 males and 3548 females.[1]
