Mamirolle is a commune in the Doubs department in the Franche-Comté region in eastern France.

Geography

The commune lies 14 km (8.7 mi) southeast of Besançon on the first plateau of the Jura mountains. It is situated at the foot of a wooded hill and is crossed by the railroad from Besançon to Le Locle.
