Mami Kudo

Mami Kudo (工藤真実 Kudō Mami, born 17 July 1964) is a Japanese ultramarathon runner, world champion (2013) of the 24-hour run. Kudo also holds the Women's world record on track, a record she first set in Taipei, Taiwan in 2009 when she ran 254.425 km/158.126 miles.[1] In April 2011 Kudo set a new 48 hour world record at the Athens International ultra festival running 368.687 km. In December 2011 Kudo reset her own 24 hour world record by running 255.303 km at the Soochow International 24 hour race in Taiwan.
