The Malghani is a Baloch tribe. They are settled in village Sokar and Hassan abad larra Dera Ghazi Khan speak the Saraiki language but most of those living in Balochistan speak the Balochi language.Those living in Jaccobabad, Larkana, Dadoo (Sindh) and speak Sindhi. Sardar Mir Aslam Malghani was a baloch nationalist leader, who fought against the British empire. The chief of malghani tribe is Sardar Mir Akram khan malghani. Sokar is the headquarter of Malghani tribe. Population of Sokar is about 30,000. Almost all the people living in Sokar are Malghanis. Literacy rate of Sokar is almost 95% to 98%. All of the people are Muslims. 98% people of Malghani tribe are Sunni Muslim.In Hassan Abad larra 100%people are malghani by cast.The literacy rate in this village is 100%.
