Maletto (Sicilian: Malettu) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 140 km east of Palermo and about 40 km northwest of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,051 and an area of 40.9 km².[1]
Maletto borders the following municipalities: Adrano, Belpasso, Biancavilla, Bronte, Castiglione di Sicilia, Nicolosi, Randazzo, Sant'Alfio, Zafferana Etnea.
