Maleczewo [malɛˈt͡ʂɛvɔ] (German: Malleczewen (1938-45:Maletten)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ełk, within Ełk County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Ełk and 120 km (75 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
