Malcolm Murray born in Oamaru is a New Zealand actor, best known for his role as Dr. Al Dubrovsky in Shortland Street between 1999-2001. He was originally cast as the character of Doctor David Kearney in 1996 but was replaced by Peter Elliott. Malcolm who left Shortland Street at the end of 2001, left for Australia. Malcolm who then went into theatre and was cast in Shakespeare's King Lear playing the Earl of Kent from 2002 until September going right through the nation and a few off shows in Australia.
University
Malcolm attended Otago University out of school and studied drama for three years.
