Makkah Masjid is a mosque in the city of Chennai, India. The dargah of Syed Musa Sha Khaderi is located near the masjid.

The masjid is located in the heart of the city of Chennai in Mount Road. The Chief Imam of the masjid is " Moulana Moulavi Samsudeen Kasimi" who is a well known personality in Tamil Nadu. He comes from "Udangudi " near Tiruchendur" from Thutukudi District". The masjid Imam(another Hafiz Imam) leads Special Tarawee Namaz" during Ramzan and the Chief Imam offer special bions every year. This is one of the few masjid that allows Muslim women to offer prayers and take part in the special bions. The Chief Imam "Moulana Moulavi Samsudeen Kasimi" hold his Alim degree from "Madarasa Kasibul Hooda" near Chennai. Later he gets his degree for Shariath Expertise(Kasimi) from world famous "Darul Uloom" Deoband Islamic Madarasa. The Friday Jumma bions are telecasted in "Tamilan TV" on every Friday night at 10. The Masjid also has a "Shariath council" to sort out disputes within Muslim families.


The five-storeyed mosque is one of the largest in India and can house 5,000 worshippers at a time.
