"Making Time" is The Creation's début single, written by Kenny Pickett (lead singer) and Eddie Phillips (guitarist).[1]
Cover versions
It has often been covered by other bands, including Little Free Rock and Green Bullfrog.
It is featured on the 1998 Rushmore film soundtrack.
A mid-1980s band Makin' Time, was named after this song.
You Am I released a version of the song on Beat Party! - a bonus disc that came with initial copies of their album Hourly, Daily.
The B-side "Try and Stop Me" was covered by The Radiators from Space (on the 1979 "Let's Talk About The Weather" single).
