Mahendranagar is a village development committee in Dhanusa District in the Janakpur Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 10,209 persons living in 1916 individual households.Mahendranagar act as bridge between Dhalkebar and Janakpur. Here four lines road way network. In the educational aspects , Gangotri boarding school and Saraswati Boarding has playrd an important role. Mr. Alok kumar Mahato is topper of Mahendranagar and now he is studying science. Rabin singh, Rohit Khanal, Ananta Mahato are bright student of Gangotri Boarding School. Here is also many Hospitals for the People.In in development, here is one if the biggest factory of nepal i.e Paper Factory.[1]
