Madgul is a Mandal in Mahbubnagar district in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the home town of politician Sudini Jaipal Reddy who served as the member of legislative assembly for numerous terms from Kalwakurthy. He has served as member of parliament and minister for Information and Broadcasting in the union cabinet. Now he is serving as the minister for urban development, being minister for petroleum he did well for madgul, we are expecting some thing more from science and technology ministry. Madgul is famous for its agriculture.
