Mad'House was a Dutch Eurodance group that lasted in 2002, consisting of three members who were Mukendi M'Bambi Adolphe (DJ, music producer), Stéphane Durand (producer), and Buse Unlu (Vocalist). They were known for creating cover versions of songs that were originally made by Madonna.
Their debut single, "Like a Prayer", was a #1 hit in Germany and the Netherlands.
History
Mad'House was formed in the spring of 2002, as an inspiration after having heard a mashup via internet "You Are Like a Prayer to Me" a collaboration remix by Madonna featuring Black Legend as their influences. [1]
Their debut single was "Like a Prayer", which has sold several copies throughout Europe. Mad'House made 2 more Madonna cover-based singles including "Into The Groove", and "Holiday". Mad'House was after the success of Like A Prayer that was scored in the Netherlands and eventually went on tour throughout Europe and beyond with success of their debut single.
On September 3rd of 2002, Mad'House released their debut and their only studio album Absolutely Mad which became a worldwide success throughout Europe.
On October of 2002, Mad'House began touring but never outside of Europe. After their last concert, Buse Unlu had decided to leave due to an earlier birth she gave earlier to Damian Angelo Geronimo Firgilio on August 17th, resulting in a demise of Mad'House.
