Macquarie National News

Macquarie National News is the name of the news service provided by Macquarie Radio Network Pty Ltd. It reaches both Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, through the radio stations 2GB, 2CH and SEN 1116. It is also heard between 6:00-9:00am weekdays on 2KY and the Sky Racing Network.
It provides half-hourly radio news bulletins, weather and traffic reports. It also produces a number of video bulletins each day.
On September 16, 2009 the company shut down its news website, livenews.com.au after two years of existence citing poor financial returns.[1]
