The Machinarium Soundtrack is a soundtrack for the video game Machinarium. Written, composed, mixed and produced by Floex, alias Tomáš Dvořák for Amanita Design, the soundtrack was released on October 21, 2009 in digital format (mp3 and flac), on February 27, 2010 on vinyl LP and on March 5, 2010 on CD (as part of Collector's Edition of the game). The album includes 14 tracks.[1]

Release

Collector's Edition of the Soundtrack

In addition to the cd-version, it was decided to release the soundtrack on vinyl.

1st edition of 555 hand-numbered copies was released on February 27, 2010 on clear yellow & black vinyl: 405 copies on black and 150 copies on clear yellow.
2nd edition of 245 hand-numbered copies was released on December 8, 2010 on black vinyl.
3rd edition of 500 copies was released on April 20, 2011 on black vinyl.

First edition is signed by the author himself.
All editions contain three art reproductions by Adolf Lachman and features a coupon with a code to download MP3/FLAC versions of the album.

Album is pressed on high quality 140 gram vinyl at Pallas Group GmbH, Diepholz, Germany.[2]

Awards

Machinarium Soundtrack won the Best Soundtrack award from PC Gamer in 2009.[3]

The tracks which weren't included in the original soundtrack of the game were released as "Machinarium Bonus EP" in digital format (mp3 and flac). These tracks can be downloaded for free at Machinarium's official website.[4]
