Mażucie [maˈʐut͡ɕe] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gołdap, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Gołdap and 126 km (78 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia) Until 1938 the village was called Masutschen and renamed Oberhofen 16 July 1938.
