Mário Jorge Quintas Felgueiras (born 12 December 1986 in Viana do Castelo) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays for CFR Cluj in Romania, as a goalkeeper.
Club career
A youth product of Sporting Clube de Portugal, Felgueiras made his professional debuts with Sporting de Espinho in the third division, playing two seasons on loan. Released in June 2007 he joined second level's Portimonense SC, being first-choice the vast majority of the campaign.
In the 2008–09 season Felgueiras upgraded yet another division, moving to Sporting de Braga. He only appeared in one game in his first year (ten minutes of the last match, a 1–1 draw at league champions F.C. Porto).
For 2009–10 Felgueiras was loaned to another top flight club, Vitória de Setúbal, as another goalkeeper, Poland's Paweł Kieszek, returned from his spell at the same team. In July 2010 he returned to Braga, appearing in both legs of the 4–2 aggregate win against Celtic F.C. for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League; however, he was soon deemed surplus to requirements and made way to another Brazilian (Felipe, the 17th in the squad), leaving for Rio Ave F.C. until the end of the campaign[1]– his official debut came in the league opener, a 0–1 home loss against C.D. Nacional.
In the 2012 summer, after one season with FC Brașov, Felgueiras signed with fellow Liga I side CFR Cluj. On 19 September he put on a Man of the match performance against former club Braga, in a 2–0 Champions League group stage away win, being subsequently selected for the Team of the Round.[2][3]
International career
Felgueiras was capped by Portugal at U-16, U-17, U-19, U-20 and U-21 levels, for a total of 36 international appearances.
