Lychen (German pronunciation: [ˈlyːçən]) is a town in the Uckermark district, in Brandenburg, Germany. It is situated 24 kilometres (15 mi) southeast of Neustrelitz, and 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) east of Fürstenberg/Havel. This is the town where the thumbtack was created.
