Luniz (formerly The LuniTunes) was an American platinum-selling hip hop duo from Oakland, California, formed by Yukmouth (Jerold Ellis III) and Numskull (Garrick Husbands). The group released an internationally successful hit in 1995 titled "I Got 5 on It"—two versions of which appeared on the group's album Operation Stackola. A third version of the song, featuring Oakland rappers Dru Down, Shock G, Richie Rich, E-40 and Spice 1, also gained radio airplay. The track sold over one million copies in the United States alone.[1]
