Luis Rentería (born 13 September 1988) is a Panamanian football forward who currently plays for Tauro in the Liga Panameña de Fútbol.

Club career

Nicknamed Matagatos (Catkiller), Rentería joined Bolivar after one year on loan at Real Cartagena where he scored 8 goals in 19 appearances. Renteria is the leading goalscorer in Panama's Primera Division.[1]

International career

He also plays for the Panamanian national team.

Personal life

In October 2013, Rentería was diagnosed with lupus.[2] He had been sick since August 2013 and was expected to leave hospital in November.[3]
