Luis Née

Luis Née (fl. 1734-1803) was a Franco-Spanish botanist, who accompanied the Malaspina Expedition to the Pacific Ocean coasts of North America and Australia.
He described many new plants, including the Coast Live Oak, which he discovered in California.
