Luis Diaz (politician)

Luis Diaz is a former New York State Assembly member for the 86th district,[1] first elected in 2002 (when the district was first formed).[2] He is a Democrat.[3] He stood down at the 2008 elections.[4]
Diaz was born in Puerto Rico and prior to his election served as executive director of a Bronx social enterprise organization.[3] He had also worked as an aide to Democratic Assemblyman Peter Rivera of the 76th.[2]
