Luetkenotyphlus brasiliensis is a species of amphibian in the Caeciliidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Luetkenotyphlus.[citation needed] It is found in Argentina, Brazil, and possibly Paraguay. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, pastureland, plantations, rural gardens, urban areas, and heavily degraded former forest.
