Lucy Elizabeth Wicks is an Australian politician. She is a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives, representing the Division of Robertson in New South Wales, since her election in September 2013.
Early years and background
Wicks was raised in Point Clare, New South Wales.[1]
Career
Wicks was a teacher in Narara, New South Wales. Before entering politics in 2013, Wicks lived and worked in Sydney, specialising in public relations. In 2011 she worked as a director of Barton Deakin in their Sydney office, providing government relations and advisory services. Following her controversial preselection by the Liberal Party state executive against the wishes of local branches, Wicks regained the seat of Robertson for the Liberal Party.[1]
