Luce Maced (2 May 1886 – 25 February 2000) was the oldest person to have ever lived in French territory, aged 113 years and 299 days. She was the fourth oldest person in the world at the time of her death and the sixth oldest French person on record. Maced was born in Guadeloupe and died in Martinique. She is in the list of oldest people.
Life
Luce was the oldest living person in French overseas departments and territories when she died in February 2000.
Death
Maced died on 25 February 2000. At the time of her death, she was 113 years and 9 months old. She would have turned 114 in May 2000.
