Lua Blanco (born March 5, 1987)[1] is a Brazilian actress and singer who played the lead role in the Rede Record's telenovela Rebelde.

Biography

Born in São Paulo,[2] her brother, Pedro Sol, and her sisters, Estrela Blanco and Ana Terra, are singers and actors, and her grandfather is the musician Billy Blanco.[3] She is studying Linguistics at the PUC-Rio university.[1]

Career

Lua Blanco started her acting career in 2008 in the Rede Globo telenovela Três Irmãs, playing Bia, then appearing in the following year in Malhação.[4] She is a member of the band "Lágrima Flor", as a singer.[5] Lua Blanco temporarily left the band to play the lead role, Roberta Messi, in the 2011 Rede Record telenovela Rebelde.[6][7]
