Love Drunk is the second studio album recorded by rock/pop band Boys Like Girls. The album was recorded half in New York City and Vancouver because there are "two different producers/production teams, two different environments, and two different styles of inspiration", stated by the band's frontman, Martin Johnson. The album peaked at #8 on Billboard 200, making it the biggest hit for the band. Its lead single, titled "Love Drunk" was released on July 7, 2009 shortly followed by "She's Got a Boyfriend Now", "Two Is Better Than One" (featuring Taylor Swift) and "Heart Heart Heartbreak".
Development and release
The album became available worldwide for download on iTunes on 8 September 2009.[8] A deluxe edition of Love Drunk was released through iTunes exclusively from 2–4 October.[citation needed] On 25 June 2009 at around 10:15AM, the band streamed their first single "Love Drunk" on their MySpace site. Several leaks of the song later spread online. On the radio show Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, an acoustic version of "Two Is Better Than One" was premiered. "Heart Heart Heartbreak" was released on the band's PureVolume on August 17, 2009 as a result of reaching 250,000 fans on their Facebook.[9] A 30-second preview of every song on the album was subsequently uploaded to YouTube, and then began officially streaming on their MySpace.
The album peaked at #8 on the Billboard 200 in its first week of release.
News of an official Mark Hoppus remix of "Love Drunk" spread and it was confirmed as an exclusive track of the Love Drunk deluxe edition album. An exclusive Sean Kingston remix of "Love Drunk" was then confirmed on November 12 to be released on the iTunes Store as part of the Love Drunk EP, including acoustic versions of both "Love Drunk" and "She's Got a Boyfriend Now". The EP became available to purchase on January 5, 2010.

"Two Is Better Than One" is a collaboration with Taylor Swift and the official second single from Love Drunk. The single was released for airplay on October 19, 2009.[11]
"Heart Heart Heartbreak" is the album's third single. The song was officially sent to U.S. radio on April 13, 2010.[12]
