Louwrens Hanedoes (1822, Woudrichem 1905, Woudrichem), was a 19th-century landscape painter from the Netherlands.

Biography

According to the RKD he was a pupil of Barend Cornelis Koekkoek and Cornelis Kruseman.[1] He studied at the Akademie van beeldende kunsten in The Hague where he met and became the friend of the painter Charles Rochussen who often populated his landscapes with figures.[1] They also travelled together.[1] In 1863 he was awarded the honorary title ridder in de Leopoldsorde by the Belgian King.[1]
