Louisiana Highway 944 (LA 944) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Ascension Parish. It spans 2.56 miles (4.12 km) in a south to north direction.
Route description
From the south, LA 944 begins at junction with LA 1 just west of Donaldsonvile. After travelling westward for approximately one mile, the pavement ends at a junction with Palo Alto Road. The route more northerly before a terminus at LA 943.
LA 944 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire paved length. Much of it (from Palo Alto Road to its northerly terminus) is unpaved.
