Louisiana Highway 943 (LA 943) is a state highway in Louisiana that serves Ascension Parish. It spans 8.00 miles (12.87 km) in a south to north direction.
Route description
From the south, LA 943 begins at junction with LA 308 just west of Donaldsonvile. It heads westward and immediately crosses Bayou Lafourche and LA 1. After about three miles (5 km), the road turns northward. After another mile, the road turns back eastward. Shortly after an intersection with LA 944, the route terminates at a second junction with LA 1.
LA 943 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
