Louisiana Highway 655 (LA 655) is a state highway in that serves Lafourche Parish. It spans a total of 1.1 miles (1.8 km), connecting LA 1 and LA 308 at Lockport.[1]

Route description

From the west, LA 655 begins at an intersection with LA 1 (Crescent Avenue) in Lockport. It proceeds eastward along Vacherie Street then crosses a swing bridge (built in 1940) over Bayou Lafourche into an area known as Rita. LA 655 immediately turns southeast onto East Main Street to a terminus at LA 308.
