Louis "Lou" Mongello is an American author and web developer who has written two trivia books about the Walt Disney World Resort: 2004's The Walt Disney World Trivia Book and 2006's The Walt Disney World Trivia Book Volume 2.[1][2][3][4]

Mongello is the host of his own podcast show WDW Radio,[5] for which he has won the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Podcast Awards for Best Travel Podcast.[6] He also produces "Audio Guides" to Disney parks on his website.[7] He is also the co-Publisher of Celebrations Magazine, a print publication dedicated to the magic of Walt Disney World

Biography

Mongello holds a bachelors degree in Sociology from Villanova University and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University. He practiced law for nine years before forming his own computer consulting and web design company, Imagine Enterprises. Lou was most recently the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Operations for a medical imaging company in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

Mongello's first book was featured in the Fall 2005 issue of Seton Hall Magazine,[8] Staten Island Parent,[9] and the December 2004 issue of The Bookwatch.[1]

The Dream Team Project

Mongello also manages a charitable group named the Dream Team Project.[10] The Dream Team Project is designed for the purpose of raising money to grant the wishes children with serious illnesses to visit Walt Disney World. Portions of the proceeds from the sale of all merchandise sold on WDWRadio.com, as well as personal donations made by Lou Mongello from sales of the Walt Disney World Trivia Books, donations from WDWRadio.com “Family Members” and friends, and the proceeds of special fundraising events run by The Dream Team Project are all used to help make the life of a child a bit brighter during a difficult time for them and their family. As of December 31, 2010 the Dream Team Project has raised over $80,000.
