"Louder Than Ever" is a song recorded by American indie rock band Cold War Kids. It's the second track off their third album Mine Is Yours and was the record's debut single on December 14, 2010.

Music video

The video was directed by Vern Moen and it tells a story about a model who's forced to change her appearance in order to appease the people handling her.

Chart performance

The song appeared on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart at number 34 and peaked at number 31, their fourth top 40 hit on that chart. It stayed on that chart for twelve weeks. It made its first appearance on the Billboard Rock Songs chart at number 48 but fell two weeks after.

Live performances

Cold War Kids first performed "Louder Than Ever" along with "Royal Blue" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on January 26, 2011.[2] They performed the song again on the Late Show with David Letterman on March 14, 2011.[3]
