Louis Carlo Franceschetti (born March 28, 1958 in Toronto, Ontario) is a retired Canadian ice hockey player. He was born in Toronto, Ontario.
Drafted in 1978 by the Washington Capitals, Francheschetti also played for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres. Lou was a fan favorite in the late 1980s during his tenure as a Capital, mainly for his hard hits. After a rough Franceschetti check, the fans would yell "LOOOOOO". He retired from active play in 1996, and is now working for a small construction company in Toronto.
