Los Hidalgos is a town in the Puerto Plata province of the Dominican Republic. It has another name or a nickname if you want to say that, which is El Mamey. Most people call it by this name. The current mayor is Felix Sarita. It has one of the most outstanding park of the Dominican Republic. Around that park are different place to go and have an awesome (sicsic) time. It is also really close to the beach La Ensenada, about an hour away. It is also close to Villa Isabela where Cristopher Culumbus arrived in 1492. This town is divided in different sections such as Mamey Arriba, Alto de Los Acosta, Alto de Los Francisco, Pueblo Nuevo, Pinto etc.
