Lorne Balfe (born 23 February 1976) is a British composer and music producer. He is best known for providing music for video games such as Assassin's Creed III. He has worked alongside Hans Zimmer multiple times to add additional music to films such as The Dark Knight Rises.

Personal life

Born in Inverness, Scotland; Balfe started off his professional musical career by composing jingles for Radio Forth (now Forth One) in Edinburgh. He works at the Remote Control Productions Studio, and composed the music for the Skylanders video games, including the main theme with Hans Zimmer.
