Lorna Laidlaw (born 1962 in Birmingham) is a British actress. She began acting with the Birmingham Youth Theatre.
She is best known for her role as Mrs Tembe on the BBC soap opera, Doctors, a regular character she has played since January 2011.[1]
She is also well known for her years spent presenting BBC Children's show, Tikkabilla.[2]
She plays the much-loved character Miss Smiley in the Children's BBC series "Grandpa in my pocket".
