Lords Point

Lords Point is a small private village in the scenic town of Stonington, Connecticut. Established in 1909, Lord's Point has over 200 houses and summer cottages, with an average summer population of about 800 people. There are 6 beaches in Lord's Point; Open Way, Tim's Beach, Boulder Beach, Hopkins Beach, Pebble Beach, and Tressel Beach, and also 2 docks; Boulder and Langworthy. These are not open to the public but are limited to Lord's Point residents and guests only. Facilities include a basketball court, a bocce area, a tennis court, a soccer field, and a Clubhouse, best known as the "Community House", which holds rentals for parties, Bingo nights in the summer, teen parties, art programs, an annual Talent Show, morning athletic classes, and more.^[1]
