The discography of New Zealand singer-songwriter Lorde consists of one studio album, two extended plays, three singles and three music videos. At the age of 13, she was signed to Universal Music Group (UMG)[4] and started to write music.[5] In November 2012, when she was 16 years old,[6] she self-released her first major release The Love Club EP through complimentary SoundCloud[7] A song from the EP, "Royals" became a hit in New Zealand in early-2013,[8] following The Love Club EP's release for sales in March 2013 through UMG.[9] In October 2013, "Royals" topped numerous mainstream charts internationally, including the US Billboard Hot 100.[6][10]
In September 2013, the singer released her debut studio album Pure Heroine.[2] The record peaked at number one in New Zealand and Australia,[10][11] and achieved multiple certifications in countries including New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, United States and Canada. "Tennis Court" was released as a single from the album in June 2013.[12] It performed well in New Zealand, peaking at number one atop the country's singles chart.[11] In September, the follow-up single "Team" was released.[13] The record became a top-three hit in New Zealand.[11] It was also Lorde's second top-ten US hit, charting at number 8 on the Hot 100.[14] As of January 2014, Lorde has sold 6.8 million tracks in the US.[15]

Notes
- ↑ Pure Heroine was released on 27 September 2013 in Australia[1] and New Zealand.[2]
- ↑ 2.0 2.1 In Australia, The Love Club EP appeared on the Australian Singles Chart. Sales of songs on the EP went toward the sales tallies of The Love Club EP and therefore could not chart separately. However, "Royals" charted on the ARIA Digital Tracks Chart and peaked at number 2.[3]
