Julie Ann Campbell, otherwise known as LoneLady is a musician from Manchester, England.^[1] Her debut album, Nerve Up, appeared on Warp Records in 2010 and drew praise from Paul Morley.^[2]

Biography

Campbell graduated in Fine Arts at Manchester Metropolitan University. While at university, she started to write and record music on a four-track recorder. ^[3] She released two CD-R singles and one 7" vinyl on Manchester-based label Filthy Home Recordings. This brought LoneLady to the attention of Too Pure, and in 2007 they released a 7" single, Early The Haste Comes. In 2009, Campbell signed to Warp Records. Her debut album, Nerve Up, was released 22 February 2010.^[4]
In 2011, Campbell collaborated with Jah Wobble and Keith Levene and made the album Psychic Life, released by Cherry Red Records. ^[5]
