Lomnice nad Lužnicí (German: Lomnitz an der Lainsitz) is a town in Jindřichův Hradec District, South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. It has a population of 1,677 (2005 est.). It lies on the Lužnice river and gained town rights in 1932.
