Lomnice is a small town (městys) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The town covers an area of 14.534 square kilometres (5.612 sq mi), and has a population of 1,342 (as at 25 February 2008).
Lomnice lies approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) north-west of Brno and 163 km (101 mi) south-east of Prague.
