Lois Abbingh (born 13 August 1992 in Groningen)[2] is a Dutch handballer who plays for the German club VfL Oldenburg as a left back. She is also member of the Dutch national team, with them she captured the eight position on the 2010 European Championship. Abbingh contributed with seven goals to the result,[3] which is the best position the Netherlands ever reached on a European Championship.
In 2011 she was a key player of the Dutch team that reached the final of the Women's 19 European Championship, just to fell short against Denmark in a close battle to 27–29. Abbingh scored 65 goals in the tournament and won the top scorer's award.[4]
She also competed at the 2012 Women's Junior World Handball Championship in the Czech Republic.
