Lohn Castle

The rural palace of Lohn in Kehrsatz, near Bern, Switzerland, is the official estate of the Swiss Federal Council, the government of Switzerland.
Built in 1782 by Carl Ahasver von Sinner for the Bernese patrician family of Tscharner, the estate was bequeathed to the Swiss Confederation in 1956. Today, it is used for Government retreats and as a guest-house for official guests of the Confederation.
