Lohithaswa T.S (Kannada: ಲೋಹಿತಾಶ್ವ ಟಿ. ಎಸ್.) is a noted Kannada film actor and playwright and a retired English professor. He has acted in more than five hundred Kannada movies, stage plays, and television serials. He is popularly known for his dominating voice in the Kannada film industry. His son Sharath Lohitashwa[1] (Kotwal Ramachandra of Aa Dinagalu fame) is a versatile actor and has won awards from Filmfare.[2]

Personal life

He married Vatsala in 1971, and they have three children. Their son is noted film actor Sharath Lohitashwa, and they have a daughter, Vinaya, and another son, Rahul. He is a retired principal currently focused on literary work and social activism.[citation needed]

Education

Lohithaswa completed his post-graduate research in English literature from Manasagangotri Mysore University.
